Hi,
Uplink balancing is great for using web! Thank you!
I would use it for a vpn over a leased line with backup via web (failover).
I have 2 ASGs for the beta test. Each have 1 standard ethernet to the web and 1 standard ethernet direct to the other ASG to simulate a leased line.
Both nic`s are in a Uplink Group on each ASG with failover and automatic monitoring. Leased line is on top, because the vpn shall use it as standard.
1. I made a ipsec vpn via line. It works.
2. I changed the vpn to work with the Uplink Goup and an Availability Group contain the ASG`s with there both ip`s (web and line).
If the line goes down failover works, vpn goes up to the web.
BUT: If the line is online again the vpn does not fall back!
The problem is the monitoring: There is only one monitoring group for the hole Uplink Group AND only to the web (automatic)!
If I make the monitoring manually and use the line ip from the other ASG, the vpn comes up via line BUT the web connect is down for all! [:@]
I think it is necessary to configure the monitoring hosts of an Uplink Group for each nic separately!
Any suggestions?
