Is it possible that you can try it with an different browser? I set the checkbox to use the U2D Parent Proxy,define the host to use and apply these settings. After an refresh of the page the checkbox is still marked.

same effect with FF3, IE7, IE8 - but: the check disappears only, if "Use an Up2Date Cache" is enabled
maybe the thinking behind is ok, but what if i can reach the cache server only via proxy...

it seems that you can only use Parent Proxy OR Astaro Up2Date Cache and that is why the checkbox dissappears. In my understanding Parent Proxy is used to Download through the Proxy and the Up2Date Cache is used to Download directly from the Up2Date Cache so you don't need to use the Proxy
yes, can comprehend this thinking - but makes no sense for me; how can i reach the U2D-cache servers w/o proxy - or will the traffic go the same way like ACC-DevAgnt?; that will be fine, if the U2D-Cache is the ACC - but if u use another source, i have tio add a PFR (maybe hard behind a third party security device) or use an existing proxy - then i need both, parten proxy and cache...
