[Hardware] Intel 82574L gigE NIC support?

I'm planning to get an Atom motherboard, the MSI IM-945GSE-A...

The Intel 82574L gigE NICs aren't on the v7 HCL; I was wondering if anyone knows if they will work, and with VLANs?

Looks like it was added to the Linux kernel on September 3rd.

How recent is the e1000 driver in the Astaro beta?

DMESG tells me

That is with cat /tmp/.build:
sles10.intranet.astaro.de:/asg-7.385-090112-1.iso (12:06:34)

But AFAIK you need the new e1000e kernel driver module which does not yet exist in ASG kernel.

No, e1000e module has been delayed and will not be in v7.400 due to some problems with NICs used in our appliances which have to be fixed by Intel first.

There is already an open ID and we're at it, though.
