[NOTABUG] [7.380] Hitting F2 during boot doesn't reveal boot messages

I've tried on a number of boots to press [F2] as offered on the Astaro boot splash screen to get in to view boot messages as they occur, but this functionality doesn't seem to work for me.

Of course, I know I can login after the machine has booted and check the log file, but like a lot of Linux OS's, it's nice to turn off the pretty boot screen and actually watch the status of things as they boot up.

Can anyone else test / verify if this functionality is playing up? I recall it worked in [7.350] ono the exact hardware I'm using now for beta testing [7.380], but hadn't tried again until recently.

    Hi Barry,

    It's a PS2 keyboard running through a KVM (and no, the KVM doesn't intercept F2 for anything).... Yep - function keys work on all BIOS screens and for switching VTY's in Linux... 

    It even worked previously on the boot screen when I was beta testing ASG 7.350 on the same Proliant DL360, just doesn't seem to wanna play ball now... That's ok, if it's working for everyone else out there, I'll chalk it down to paranoia...

    B2BWeb, are you using a USB or PS/2 keyboard?
    If USB, does the keyboard work in the BIOS screens?
