I came in late to the beta testing but I was able to test the UPS functionality with my current configuration. Astaro performed as expected. The status bar tracked the percentage of battery charge and shut down the Astaro box when the UPS reached about ten percent of remaining battery life.
One recommendation that I have is to change the color layout for the UPS status bar. Recommend changing the UPS status bar to all green. Once the battery life reaches a certain percentage; have the status bar change from green to yellow and when the Astaro box is almost ready shut down have the status bar change to red.
Another recommendation is to have a message displayed on the consol connected to the VGA connector of the Astaro box and the possibility of a pop-up box on the web interface (when the administrator is logged in) notifying the administrator that the Astaro box is on UPS power.
Astaro, keep up the good work. The product keeps getting better and better,
