I noticed that even if all of my interfaces have static IP addresses, I can still select "Use forwarders assigned by ISP" under Network->DNS->Forwarders. Is that a bug?
If your ISP has provided you with a static IP address (assuming ADSLXX) they will also have provided you with at least one (1) DNS address. From my reading of the log files you will get an DNS sent to you as part of the service connection/reconnection each time, so that would fill those fields.
