[7.380] PROXY - "No matching profile found" on 7.305 > 7.380

After upgrading from a fully working 7.305 install with transparent mode filtering enabled and functioning I am greeted with on a client machine:

While trying to retrieve the URL: https://community.sophos.com/products/unified-threat-management/astaroorg/f/95/t/67117
Error message: No matching profile found
Your cache administrator is: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I believe this is a bug since any user upgrading their ASG appliance doing a regular upgrade from 7.305 to 7.400 could have brought down internet access.

After creating a profile and filter rules and such I am at a loss on how to get traffic to filter with the proxy. I ended up placing the network where browsing is done from inside the "Transparent mode skiplist" to allow web access again.

I will dig up logs but I need some sleep.

Hi,
you don't need to dig up anything. For the moment you need to add each user/PC to the profile. There is a bug which has been identified in a previous post.

I did take a look through a number of the other proxy posts that I could find for 7.380 but was unable to find anything directly relating to the symtoms/issue I am having with "No matching profile found" as opposed to some of the other errors and wanted to be sure this was reported.

Moderators, if more info is needed I can post otherwise if this is exact issue is already known issue please mark this as a DUP.

In the 7.400 final are we going to require profiles or will there be a default profile created since previous releases did not require profiles?

I have not gotten this working yet, just posing questions regarding 7.400 expectations if that is the issue.
