As the beta phase only lasts until December 18th, I suggest they will hand out a new version within the next days [;)]

We'll have another release beginning of next week (1-3 Dec).

Is there a mailing list for volunteer beta testers, or should we just watch this thread for when to grab a new ISO down for installation?

if you installed the beta from iso, your up2date is configured to use the beta-up2date server and you will get a notification mail. For new isos, you have to look for new announcements in the beta section.

Hi All....

I know the posted beta period was due to end Dec 18th...  

There are still a lot of active bugs present in 7.380 by monitoring the forums (some fairly substantial, some cosmetic)....  

Is there likely to be any other beta releases to try and address some of these before an RTM release to the public, or is "what you see what you get" for 7.40 as it stands in 7.380?

I was fairly surprised by the publicly announced deadline when the first beta was released. Who would know how many and what bugs will be found in advance?

The better deadline is surely rather "it's done then it's done" than a fixed date [;)]

From past experience Astaro will release the GA on the 18th and then followup reasonably quickly with a v7.401 release to cleanup the left overs.

So expect to see a GA version tomorrow about 4 to 6am my time which is the 19th.

We are loosely looking to do a few Release Candidates first to get us into January, then have a final release if our (roadmap and schedule holds) in Mid-Late January. We want a stable, solid release for 7.400 and are taking the time to ensure this goal is balanced against actually getting this release out to our customers, a constant tug of war [;)]
