When i have the HTTP Proxy set for AD SSO, IE keeps prompting me for a username and password. I deleted and rejoined the Astaro to the domain and still got the same behavior. I have run the server tests and user sign in test and both passed fine.
I have been attempting to join ASG to my Active Directory domain to test SSO and I'm not successful joining to the domain. I keep getting "Joining the domain failed". I know it is talking to the Active Directory server ok, because I configured it in the Active Directory tab, and the "Test Server" button works.
I tried running pgrep winbindd through ssh and I don't see any process IDs. I also tried the command to restart ntlm "/var/mdw/scripts/ntlm restart". Then rerunning pgrep winbindd, and I still don't see any process IDs.
Running the command /var/mdw/scripts/ntlm restart fixed my problem. It also looks like they fixed a bug from 7.30x where you couldnt have multiple AD SSO Proxies.
ee-tra, is this issue with winbindd not starting properly a known issue, and will it be fixed? I haven't seen this problem before in the previous version.
This issue is pre 7.350 and known but the fix is not yet tagged for a release.
The priority of the issue will be raised due to the increased occurance.
Also the finding will be confirmed.
Thank you for reporting and system checking.
Cheers.
