BETA ISO + Up2Date released: now RC2 7.290 released

We've released another update for the 7.300 beta, raising version to 7.270.

Existing BETA installations should use the regular Up2Date mechanism. Alternatively, here's the package download link:

If you want to do a fresh install, here's an ISO image:

Due to internal technical overhead, it is currently not possible to upgrade from 7.202 to 7.270. We recommend doing a fresh install, followed by a backup restore. The DNS vulnerability fix that is in 7.202 is also contained in 7.270.

It includes

Fixed network-based exceptions for SMTP
Fixed proper unloading of SIP modules
Fixed backend group support for XAUTH
Fixed spam releases for mailinglists

and some small bugfixes, spelling corrections and layout improvements

We also offer an upgrade path from 7.202 to 7.280, please download and install the following Up2Date package:

There are no new ISO images, please use 7.270 for fresh installations.

Obviously, 7.290 has been released a few minutes ago [;)]

At least the following has been changed:
-Added support for Opera download progress
-remediation of the wrong antispam status display issue

Besides some small fixes for remote access, ACC device agent and email-backend, most changes were cosmetic in this RC2.

Nor is there a Up2Date package for 7.202 neither an ISO image of 7.290.
Please use the 7.280 Up2Date package for upgrade from 7.202 and the 7.270 ISO image (ftp://ftp.astaro.de/pub/ASG/v7/beta/asg-7.270-080807-1.iso) for fresh installations.

As you can see on the version counter we go straight forward to ASG 7.3, even if Tom is on vacation ;-)
