[7.260] EUP does not work correctly when accessed with /portal path [NOTABUG]

Running 7.260 on a PC.

I login into the EndUser Portal and go to the remote access tab. Click on "Click here to download a complete installation package" or any of the other boxes. The web page goes blank. The URL appearing is: https://[address of Astaro box]/portaldownload/Xwpzc....aWc= . No files can be downloaded since the page is blank.

Have tried this is both IE7 (with modifications to ensure that the Astaro box is in a trusted zone and download's are prompted) and Firefox 3. The certificate looks fine (see attached picture of the cert).

One clue: When trying the process with IE7, when the blank page appears there is a IE7 error message about the "cfg" as being undefined (see attached picture of error message).

Is this user error or a bug?

I guess you access the portal with a http://host/portal URL path (Maybe a bookmark)? Just use http://host and it should be fine. The /portal path extension is deprecated in 7.300.

Perhaps I did not make myself clear. I have no problem accessing the end user portal. When I select the remote access tab, as you are well aware, there are three buttons marked "download." Normally clicking on any one of them should start a download of a file (at least that would be the expected behavior). The problem is that clicking on any one of them results in no file being downloaded and a blank page with an IE error message.

Is there something wrong with the downloading process or am I doing something wrong?
