[7.201] Cant join AD due to non-ASCII chars in password [CONFIRMED]

Just found out that 7.250 have new nice tools for AD.
The new ad-browser is great ! Good job !

I tried to join a AD domain with admin, but it fails.
After trying it with another accout , the join work.
The different was: first admin acc use a complex password with many special characters. Second admin acc have a simple password.

I know this is a somewhat sensitive issue, but can you tell me by email (tkistner@astaro.com) which special chars the password contains? Thanks!

Confirmed. The MIT krb5 library can't handle non-ASCII characters correctly. We're checking if we can fix this.

This affects national characters like umlauts only. "Special" chars within ASCII are not affected.
