[v7.250] CPU, memory usage not updating

Hi Andreas,
this mornings daily report is missing sections, there are just crosses for some of the entries and others just have nearly blank tables.

yes, I'd like to have access to the box so I can go and search for the lost CPU and memory graphs [;)] As for the executive reports, easiest solution would probably to add me to the email recipients temporarily, so we can be sure that we both receive the same report.

Just to keep all informed - this issue turned out to be a driver problem with the e1000 network card driver. For some reason, the current e1000 driver did not report RX/TX byte counters, so the reporting could not gather the information necessary to graph throughput images.

Yes,  but I was still gathering information. In the meantime I sent you the information via email.
To summarize: some RRD files which are used to store data and create images were broken. There were a lot of weird things to be seen (like file handles being mixed up) which all happened in about 10 minutes of time about two days ago. I don't know what exactly happened there, but there were a couple of system restarts without prior shutdowns so I'd assume that something got b0rked up when power cycling the machine.

thank you. just  to stop people wondering too much, the power restarts were caused by a very loose power cord in the back of the ASG. I was putting the LAN cables in after a build of the beta version and didn't realise until a short time later the plug almost out. 

I also have one of those NICs and it wasn't reporting type other than intel. I thought that under v7.2xx it reported correctly, maybe I am just getting forgetful.

It's not a problem with e1000 cards in general, I checked with various machines in our test lab. Only Bubu's machine (which happens to be a kvm) showed this particular behaviour.

i just got the same prb, configured vlan and after that i dont see any network graphs, i only get network graphs with "executive report"

ideas ?

Hi Andreas,
I am not sure what else you poked while reviewing my ASG, but you fixed the issue which was a hangover from v7.200 and that of some VoIP traffic not appearing in the VoIP Security summary.

The IM/P2P/ report has a matrix, but very little data.
