[7.250] Network card changes not detected and updated [NOTABUG]

I've removed 2 Intel e1000 card from my astaro then replaced it with 2 8139cp... but astaro had not detected the changes... I needed to edit /etc/modules.conf then run ifconfig eth1 x.y.z.t netmask 255.255.255.0 up to make it work and go to the webadmin to do the configuration again (select the hardware interface for givens interfaces..)...

should be usefull to detect the new card and use it as a replacement for the missing cards... without having to do manual things...

Probably a feature or something already in your track system... [:)]

    This has been discussed here many times.

    The official policy is that you're supposed to re-install and restore from a config backup, but no one who knows what they're doing seems to have any problems doing it this way.

    BTW, the Intel NICs reportedly perform much better (lower CPU utilization, less 'quirks' with flaky switches).
