[7.250] WebAdmin idle timeout not working when in Admin EMail Manager [NOTABUG]

Hi,

If you go on new "Admin EMail Manager" interface then open it..

then click on the differents menu on top:
SMTP Quarantine | SMTP Spool | SMTP Log | POP3 Quarantine
one after one without stopping until you reach web admin supposed timeout, it will effectivelly timeout and close whereas there is still activities (as u keep clicking on the menus on top)

to reproduce this reduce your web admin idle timeout to 60 secs and just cycle-click on the 4 menus (not the close of course[:)] )

The Mail Manager and WebAdmin interfaces are separate backend entities and do not share the timeout setting. I'll not flag this as a bug since this intentional. [:)]

ok but the window is closed automatically [[[:(]]] so I can't continue working on it more than the webadmin timeout even if I continuously work on it (which is a bug for me) [[[:(]]]

(or maybe I was not enough clear with my explanations [[[:(]]] )

AEM (Admin email manager) access is tied to a valid WebAdmin login - which goes out of scope on an auto-logout. For the time being, your only option is to extend the Webadmin timeout (I use 3000 seconds ...).
