It's correctly identifying iChat/Jabber and MSN Messenger traffic, and successfully blocking it.
However, it would appear that the upgrade jacked up my settings for IM/P2P controls. Some that I had previously set to "do not control" were being blocked after the upgrade and vice versa. This was easy enough to fix, but I wouldn't have known they changed if I hadn't specifically looked.
Resource usage appears similar to 7.190 for me, i.e. no complaints. CPU, RAM, Swap are all within expected levels.
