this didn't happen with non-beta versions of ASG7, started with the first beta, while i didn't really pay attention in the beginning

do you access your asg over the pppoe interface you changed or over a standard ethernet interface?

nope, configuration is done thru LAN 
also internet access from LAN thru ASG won't work for ~5 min, so it's not related to DNS or webadmin problems
