Quarantine Window

Probably not the best place to put this, but it's still a bug and still present in the latest version.  

The main email quaratine window doesnt re-size properly (if at all!).  The management of the quarantine is poor - i.e. there's no filtering taking place (/user/subject/sender etc).  

I think this whole area needs a good re-think as it's poor admins that will have to administer the quarantine area's.  This is now competing against some pretty well qualified competition, but failing on the UI and management.  Technically it's fine - just needs some time spending on the front end.

    I have to agree with you here.  It's not quite as crafty as it could be.  My biggest nag is that I have to flip through each of the pop up menus to make sure I've seen everything in the quarantine.  I don't get a lot of traffic in there, but it's always a hassle to make sure there's nothing in pop3, nothing in smtp, nothing in errors, spam, infected, etc.  How about a little clicker that says "show me everything in the quarantine" with flags that tell me the reason it's in there.

    A similar tool that I keep looking for that I always miss is a SMTP Proxy Queue Manager.  Perhaps this could be rolled into the Admin user's Quarantine manager, perhaps not.  But I would rather not have to head to the log files to see if anything's been loitering around in the smtp queue.

    Sounds like the Astaro folks are planning a large update to the mail services after 7.2 goes final.  Here's to hoping it will include some of these concerns.  [:)]
