[7.190] upgrade from 7.103 no more default route and can't connect

I've restored an old asg 7.103 version which was working fine then I tried to upgrade in one go to 7.190 using all intermediate updates (7.104, 7.180, 7.185 and 7.190 uploaded) and I click on update to latest version and it seems to had done the job... except that after reboot I can't log on the ui and when checking on the console I see no default route..  and when I try to ping another box on same network I get:

ping: sendmsg: Operation not permited

    could you tell me a little bit more about your setup before the update?

    this is just a test box nothing special:

    this a box with 4 NICs, only eth2 is configured (and don't really remember if I set default route actually as this was just to beta/test... but I was accessing the astaro ui on the ip without problems...

    no web proxy, no anti-spam, ... no P2P/...

    I'm reinstalling right now and will restore my backup for 7.103 and will try to reproduce again...

    seems I reproduced it one more time..

    In fact I've no default route as this is an initial setup so just configured the eth2 internal interface without default gateway...

    then I backuped the 7.103 config, then uploaded manually (through the interface) one after each other the firmwares... and finally clicked on updating to latest version (so 7.103 -> 7.190)

    seems it started upgraded but for some reason stopped on 7.185.... and there I can't ping the box... and can't connect anymore on previous working ip... so I connect on the console and reboot... after reboot seems working again but 7.185 firmware is no more on the list... I'm sure I uploaded it... (I've done it twice)...and firmware is 7.180 but I can connect...
