i tried to ssh to the box but it keeps telling me

no matter what password i give it via webadmin.
a local login on the box it self with root is ok. but when i run your commands the output keeps scrolling and all internet traffic stops, box may be running out of air
i don't know why i can't login via ssh. i included lan as allowed network. changed the loginuser password many times but no joy.
it's a big log file with many of the same lines in it. here just some of them.
2008:04:15-21:58:03 (none) sshd [10324] User loginuser not allowed because account is locked
2008:04:15-21:59:09 failed password for invalid user loginuser from ***.***.***.*** port 1953 ssh2
2008:04:15-22:01:02 (none) sshd [10336] error: Could not get shadow information for NOUSER
so it looks like user loginuser is being locked?
