after reboot seems my root partition is corrupted for some reasons [[[:(]]]




I've tried booting with sysrescuecd and the /dev/sda3 is indeed corrupted [[[:(]]]

don't understand what happened [[[:(]]]

this was a box for test purpose only, so not really used heavily... and disks are quite recents..

I see on another box that you are using the data=writeback option for mounting the root partition...

/dev/disk/by-label/root on / type ext3 (rw,noatime,data=writeback)

are you sure this is safe enough ?

on my production box see you were using data=ordered which is probably safer:

/dev/disk/by-label/root on / type ext3 (rw,noatime,data=ordered)

I'd doubt, that the system crashes on normal rebooting - did you have any kind of 'powerloss' while testing?

I got the message like first screenshot then logged on the console later today and typed reboot... and got second screenshot...

so corruption for root ext3 partition was probably already done before rebooting...
