[7.180] Eastern Australia Daylight Savings time [CONFIRMED]

Considering there was only 1 weeks notice that DST would be extended in those states I can understand this.

Stupid governments dont care about IT issues with last minute DST changes. [:(]

Hi Simon,
wondering when you would show up in the beta forum. The time change in Victoria is not new, at least not 1 week. I have know for sometime about a change to daylight savings in Vic and NSW (ACT) to bring it in line with Tas.

Microsoft knew about it, because all our PCs at work stayed with the correct time until I screwed with the time on the time server which is/wasn't patched. We are trying to find which patch is applicable so we can it only to the servers.

My Vista machine at home knows about it, but the ASG being the time server didn't and through the place in to chaos.

Apparently most South Australians were not informed till a week before.  Meh, unsure.

Don't have time to test beta at the moment, just moved home so my home box I use for most testing doesn't have an internet connection yet and works is too critical to mess with at the moment. [:)]
