When entering new packet filter rules, and using groups to logically group your rules into groups, the display list doesn't always remember which group was selected. For example:
- enter the packet filter menu,
- top of the screen, select a group
- then only entries from that group will be displayed
- then click edit for a specific entry, and immediately click cancel.
the group is STILL selected, displaying only those entries: correct behaviour.
and, as a contrast:
- click edit for a specific entry, and click 'save': afterwards the COMPLETE packet filter list is displayed, and the group is no longer remembered.
This behaviour is very irritating when having many rules, and regular edits for only certain groups of rules.
