If you download the eicar test file from http://www.eicar.org/anti_virus_test_file.htm and you click on the https link. You are able to download the file. Which means that https isn't scanned??
Yep... because the Endpoints of the encryptet SSL Traffic are the Website and the Client... Normal Proxys cant peek into the encrypted Traffic. In order to get the Traffic the ASL has to be the Endpoint of the Traffic... witch it can´t... sadly...
That is the reason, why anonymous Proxy´s behind https Sites and "private" SSL VPN´s are so hard to block...
