After updating from 7.011 to 7.075 and 7.080 the system works fine until activating http-Proxy in standard mode for internal networks. No webadmin, no ping from&to firewall. Reboot doesn´t fix the promlem - only back to factory defaults via console helps.
I can't reproduce this here - but it sounds as if you might have some edge case triggering a hidden problem. Could you please
1) bring your device back up to working order
2) in the webadmin, go to Management->Backup/Restore->CreateBackupNow
3) download the backup from the ASG to some other computer, using the button on the same page
4) immediately afterwards, without doing anything in between, go to Websecurity->HTTP->Enable and make sure this crashes the machine in the way you describe it
5) recover the file /tmp/mdwdebug.log from the device right *after* the crash (you must NOT reboot in between, as a reboot will clear the /tmp directory)
6) send both the backup and the MiddleWare debug log to me via private E-Mail? You can use my UBB login name, appending astaro dot com.
