[7.080] Zattoo could not connect to Internet via proxy [NOTABUG]

Do you have a additional Packetfilter Rule for the video stream itself in your packetfilter? During my test (with transparent mode) the client only used
port 80 for authentication (which wasn't handled properly by the proxy).
After authentication the zatoo streamed the video stream via some UDP Port (don't have the number right now, i think it was something like 5003, but your packetfilter log should tell you)

absolut no additional paketfilter rule. This is a blank ruleset. :-)

TCP Port 5002 seems to be also for the incomming P2P connections and were dropped by the firewall.

I did some testing and added 2 paketfilter rules:

1) permit internal any service dstp TCP 8296
2) permit internal any service dstp TCP 5002

With these 2 paketfilter rules zattoo works in proxy mode transparent and standart.

No, sorry. A Firewall product shoudn't allow traffic in the default setting.

so astaro did not support zattoo as a streamming client by using the option in the http proxy part ?

That option can only apply to streaming content on port 80. If the streaming client chooses not to use the proxy for fetching its stream data, there's nothing we can do. Sorry [:)]
