This isn't exactly a new bug, but it's getting kind of annoying, since it hasn't been fixed since the first V7 release: in IE7, there is a problem with how the portal is rendered. The little "pinwheel" that shows activity tends to render off-screen, so one has to scroll over on smaller screens to see it... see the attached image.
