[7.075] Misleading error message when deleting in-use objects [CONFIRMED]

Hi,

if a network object is used as ssl vpn ip pool, it can not be deleted. However that's not the bug, but the message the is show:

"One of the values you entered is syntactically or logically incorrect".
(see screenshot).

As I entered no value at all (I just wanted to delete something), I'm a bit confused.

Hi firewalker,

this is indeed a known issue. We are tracking it internally as
issue #7144 deleting objects required by validation functions.
It is not easy to fix, so we can't do it for 7.100,
but we will revisit this later.
