I afraid you have to add information about the used browser (full build tag!) and the operating system the browser is running on or Tom will "ignore" this posting....

Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP2 Dutch version. All Patches installed available from windowsupdate.

I can confirm it for IE6 - its a bug in IE that affects dropdown menu elements, which do not react to z-index placement. In IE7, this should be fixed.
