I've setup DNAT rules, and checked the auto packet filter rule. I realize that for VPN setups these rules don't become visible in the Packet Filter section, but for DNAT rules, shouldn't these rules appear (for logging/not logging)
Are you asking that why the VPN auto packet filter rules do not show up in the Packet Filter section as compared to the DNAT auto packet filter rules which do show up in the Packet Filter section?
Or do you ask that both are not showing up in the Packet Filter section, but the DNAT should be visiable there?

my apologies for the lack of clarity. What I was getting at is that the auto rules from the DNAT section are not showing up. The VPN ones don't need to IMO. Is there a reason for this?
Thanks for the update, makes sense. Now, for example, if I needed to log or not log those rules, how would I go about doing so? That is the real reason I asked the question

Personaly I wouldnt bother with the auto packet filter rules and just create them myself, That way you would have control.
On the otherhand, as an admin I would like to see all the rules that are running on the firewall, Even those I cant change so I can see whats hapening.
The other option is to ssh in and look at the iptable and ipchains
