The reporting uses standard DNS for hostname resolution, the host definitions are not taken into consideration. If the ASG is not 'registered' in your DNS, it will not be resolveable, the same goes for every other IP too of course. The hostname resolution works in the background, but to not keep you waiting longer than necessary the resultset is already shown even if resolution is still in progress. Just hit the "update" button to see the hostnames that have been resolved in the meantime.
On my system ASG120 (updated from 7.011) Reporting -> Accounting isn't working completly. I got the second timeout message from webadmin to get the system the extra time to complete the request. But i didn't any result.
Hi titeuf, we have seen that happen especially if you have larger accounting databases. Thanks for the information, we will look into that during the next days.
I have the same problem as titeuf. Never get anything displayed, only the timeout message. This is on my home network, with only like 7 pcs, so the database shouldn't be very large.
Just to confirm, updated from 7.011 and Reporting - Network Usage - Accounting times out for me too. I got the prompt asking to Abort or Grant extra time. Hit abort. System responded it had aborted.
However now I can no longer access webmin. (First tried clicking other menus, no response). Hit Refresh page in browser (Firefox 2.0.0.9) I get "connecting to backend" and it never connects.
