Update from beta to final release?

Does anyone know if there will be a an up2date that takes ASG V7 Beta to the final release version, or will it be necessary to reinstall?

We have recently purchased a new server because our current one is running too slowly. Unfortunately its disk controller and network interfaces are not supported in ASG V6. We are considering the option of using the V7 beta now, and keeping the old system as a backup.

    that question has been asked a couple of times and the answer is yes you will be able to up2date to the final product. (somebody gave the forum bad advice that my answer was based on, my apologises)
     
    Be wary of the current version if you use the http proxy, it has a couple of bugs. 908 is a better release for http proxy users.
    If you expand your display of the beta forum to "last week" you will find a thread covering the issues.
     
    You will need to configure your v7b from scratch, it doesn't allow imports from previous production versions. Later betas should (to allow testing) and the final release will.

    Thanks Ian. It sounds like the http proxy is a bit dodgy in 908 as well. Seeing as the main purpose of the exercise was to get the http proxy going again, it probably isn't worth the effort at the moment.
