[6.908] Up2Date does not run

After installing 6.908 from the ISO up2date reports that it has never checked for an update.

Firmware version:  6.908
Pattern version: 609
Last check: never

Any ideas?

    I have to admit that I didnt think of that, but after checking the logs, the usual message wasnt present.  I did apply the fix just in case, but found this in the up2date log:
