Interface config in 6.908 badly broken

Hi,

The interface configuration from the 6.908 VMware images seems to be badly broken - it has a default eth0 interface, but no others listed and no ability to add more. 

The VM has 3 NICs attached to it, and these can be brought up manually via ifconfig.

From Network -> Interfaces -> Hardware the entry for eth0 shows "dummy object" and the internal interface shows hardware listed as "Installer Dummy"

Any one else seen this at all? A factory reset of the software makes no difference.
