Feature Request: Proxy for IMAPS & IMAP

yes an IMAP proxy is on the longterm roadmap, but will not be in ASG V7.0 and probably not in V7.x either.

Not even appearing in 7.x seems like a long time for a practical proxy.

I have been wanting an IMAP proxy ever since installing Astaro ver 4.

Is there no high quality open source code available to quickly implement this feature?
