In V6 there was the option "Accounting" so you could see what the traffic in MB/GB was in 1 day/week/month per IP. This is missing in the beta releases V7. Is this feature not implemented yet or will it be removed permanently in V7?
the accounting feature will still be in V7, just not made it yet into the GUI. [:)]
We have improved the way the accounting works. It is no longer sniffing packets, to get the information, but we now have developed and integrated a flow based accounting into the kernel, which writes the data into a database.
we query the database regulary and write the top services, top src and top dst ip's. you can find it here: /var/log/reporting/inline/network.ph
