Hi all,
I tried up2date my ASG425 to v6.834.
after reboot,ASG became no responce from any interface.
I logged in command shell from local and check.
In boot log,
I can see NIC driver module "sky2" loading failed.
I checked /etc/modules.conf.this module "sky2" is used by eth0-3.
(/etc/modules)
alias eth0 sky2
alias eth1 sky2
alias eth2 sky2
alias eth3 sky2
alias eth4 sk98lin
alias eth5 sk98lin
alias eth6 sk98lin
alias eth7 sk98lin
I try to load the module by modprobe like below,but it can't load:
#modprobe sky2
FATAL:module sky2 not found.
According to up2date blog entry,this update include Marvel NIC driver update. ASG425 has Marvel NIC.maybe this issue is related with that.
I think I should edit /etc/modules.conf,but I don't know how I configure.
