[6.808] No Progress shown on system update

The progress of a system update was shown in v6 in a seperate window.

in v7 you click the update button and nothing happens. After clicking again -> Problem contacting the backend. After some time the update is installed and the new version number is displayed after reloading the page.

Was it a bug or is it working as intended?

Working as intended (for now). As for now, there is no feedback except the alert window you get when clicking "install", telling you that an up2date process is triggered in the background.
When the "Problem connecting to backend" arises, your up2date just reached the point where services are restarted.

Hi,
is it possible for astaro to change this ?
In the past there where some up2dates with some problems so it would be very helpfull to see what happens and to know the time its finished.
