[6.819] IPSec-VPN, strange behaviour

Hi,

i have configured two IPSec VPNs (RSA), both are established and work fine.

Today i checked L2TP over IPSec - so i enabled L2TP (PSK) and established a connection from my windows-client. After i've done my tests, i disabled L2TP-remote access. From this moment, my vpn-tunnels didn't work any longer, but the dashboard still showed my 2 active tunnels.

=> disabling L2TP kills VPN-tunnels (but only if L2TP was used before)

I had to disable/enable my internet-interface to reactivate those vpn-tunnels.

This behaviour is reproducible, i repeated it two times.

If necessary, i can provide my logfiles or access to my ASG.

    Hello Astaro, this is still an issue in 6.933.

    Today i played around with L2TP again (enabled it, changed interface to local). After a few seconds, my two IPSec Site2site VPNs died and didn't come back. The dashboard still has the opinion that everything is up and running, but that's not right.

    By the way, sometimes i have the feeling that this forum is ignored by Astaro. There is hardly any feedback or acknowledgement. That annoys me and sometimes i ask myself why i waste so much time with testing this product...

    Did you send an e-mail to the v7b team outlining your issue.

    Now, don't get me wrong, I totally agree with you about a bit more interactive response from Astaro at least in beta forum so we know if we are beating our heads against a brick wall or the fault has been found and whatever.....

    No, i did not send an email to astaro, because this forum is the best place to post bugs - at least as long as there is no known-bug-list provided by astaro. Why should someone check things that are already tested?
