VMware - Change IP

I was able to get the install up and running on VMware server, but I went in and changed the Internal IP to one on my LAN and changed the VMnet8 to another IP in my lan range, and now cannot ping or login.

I have restarted, and I can go back to the original image if need be, but to test I need it in my normal range, is there something else I should have done. Is it a VM problem or an ASG problem?

I believe that VMnet8 is NAT, and therefor that interface (if assigned dynamically) will use a subnet which VMware uses internally.

If you want it to be accessible from your network you need to place it in Bridged (VMnet0, commonly).

Previously, when I first set it up, using instructions I found on here, I had to put the VMnet8 on the same subnet as the default for the ASG (192.168.150.*). Therefore, I assumed that to change it I would have to have the VMnet8 on the same subnet after I changed the ASG's IP.

VMnet0 is already bridged to my physical interface that is on my network.
