We have many users with laptops. Setting a hard proxy in their browsers is not feasible since they have to turn this off when they use another internet connection.
Hence we run in transparent mode which basically get's everyone to use the proxy. However, HTTPS traffic isn't proxied because of transparent mode.
We end up using a ASL license for every HTTPS user [:(]
Gert, it doesn't work in standard mode either. I have removed the HTTPS entry from the http proxy and opened a packet filter rule to provide acces while this issue is resolved. I have included this in my review.

exactly my problem as well. I'm wasn't using transparent proxy, just the standard proxy and https wouldn't work. I even created a rule to allow local network > https and still nada.
