webadmin?

installed asl7beta on dell optiplex g270 with 4 nics. hypertreading 2.8 1.5 GB ddr, 80 GB HD/ata

installation no problems.

starting webadmin first time. asks for hostname country etc. user password and email address. all entered.

then entered username and password

receiving error

FATAL: Unable to complete XMLHTTP request after 5 tries.

after restarting the browser and go to the webadmin again. entered username and password. now it works.

I have the same Problem. The Restart of the Browser doesn´t works.
I tried it with IE7 and Firefox 2.

Any Suggestions ?

Webadmin is flaky with these Brand New browsers
Try using Firefox 1.5 or IE 6.
I had the same problem with IE7
I think when Astaro said it worked with IE7 they mean't to say it kind of works, however the formating issues, Page layout issues and the constant, do you want tio see insecure content messages may be present.

Try using Firefox 1.5 or IE 6.
