I have just installed the VMware image for the 7 Beta. I cannot login or ping 192.168.150.5.  I have tried changing the VMnet1 and VMnet8 to 192.168.150.2 (not at the same time), and have gone into the VMnetcfg program, but don't see what else I can do. VMnet0 is bridged to my physical adapter, which I even tried changing to a .150.* address.

I can ping my network adapters at the correct IP. I have tried adding the ASG as the gateway and the DNS and neither has worked.

What am I doing wrong?

I am able to get logged in finally. I reinstalled VMware, so must have corrected some networking thing I did wrong.
Then I got the same error as here

but after reboot, all seems fine.

If it wasn't in the doc's, that's a shame. But, it was included in the instructions on the post install screen. I always double check the URL after installation to cut down on the id10T errors.[;)] 
 
I see the geek humor in the ironic port selection. Though I personally adopted 4443 after the https Nat bug in 6.
