[6.808] Email encryption / Public Key is not imported

Just wanted to keep this thread alive,
even in the actual BETA 6.836 this does not work...

Hi,

try to convert the key to binary using GnuPG before import, e.g.

gpg --dearmor pub.txt

This results in a file pub.txt.gpg. Maybe you should rename it to pub.pgp ...

Works fine for me with V6.836.

If you do not have GnuPG installed on your admin PC, use the CLI of the ASG.

on the email encryption front we also found many issues and are currently working on resolving them.
This is not finished yet, so please stay tuned.

The next beta up2date shall fix that.

At least I was able to send and receive signed and encrypted E-Mails using OpenPGP (Thunderbird+Enigmail+GnuPG on client side). [8-)] 

Maybe you should consider adding an option to disable OpenPGP/MIME? Most of the older clients (e.g. PGP
