Thank you Astaro!!! This can easily become the most complete UTM solution out there and I could go on praising this beta but I believe this isn't the idea... I'm sure you guys look for feedback and things to improve.
1) On my ASG 120 I test with I get quite some timeouts in the UI. I tried IE7 and FF 1.5 and it happens with both. You load a page and it never shows, simply times out without any error.
2) The WebAdmin certificate will stop quite some users with IE7 as this browser makes it seem like a big security issue.
3) I have about 10 static MAC address mappings in my DHCP server, it was easier in V6 to enter them. Overall I like the new UI but some screen got less user friendly as it takes more time to enter information. I also noticed that for static mapped MAC addresses there is no lease in the lease table.
4) I miss a sort feature for some tables, like the static MAC address mapping or the DNS forwarders. BTW, what forwarder will be used first, there is no number, the list simply sorts alphabetic.
5) I love the feature to get the DNS forwarders from the ISP but why are they not shown somewhere so I know it actualy worked?
6) Did I simply miss the Up2Date frequency? I can't seem to tell the system to check for patterns every hour.
7) Some error messages are very generic, like if you forget a field in a screen or have a wrong value in there. Couldn't it tell you which field?
