I had some issues getting started with the POP3 proxy. At first it simply timed out, then I got a proxy error. I had to disable my AVG plug-in for POP3 as it seems it doesn't play nice with the ASG POP3 proxy. I also noticed the proxy needed a restart before it really worked for me, I wonder if it has to do with the prefetching? I never clean my emails from the server and I'm not the only user. I noticed it says 9524 emails prefetched on the dashboard as it probably grabbed all my old stuff. Maybe some room for improvement as in a large network this can quickly become a huge number of old emails.

I hadn't got as far as you, I had enabled the pop3 proxy, but not used it and it prefeteched 723 e-mails, from where I have no idea. Today's activity is to check the pop3 proxy. I don't leave e-mails on the server.
Did you configure the e-mail server in the pop3 proxy for "any"?
