Help, I can't get past the first page

I get the basic setup screen, fill in all the details, click the "basic setup" and then nothing happens. There is disk activity, but nothing on the screen (webadmin). I am using linux box and Konqueror. I will try with firefox and see what happens.

I am trying to run V7 on a Celeron 1300a with 768mb, 2 nics and 60gb of disk.

The new WebAdmin makes heavy use of pretty new technologies like the XmlHttpRequest Object (AJAX), so probably only "the two big browsers" IE and Firefox will are properly supported. In this BETA IE has still some issues. So Firefox is the best choice for now.

Interesting, I found firefox wouldn't work with some other sites I visit and konqueror does.

Thanks for the helpful advice.

Firefox it is and is working well.

Trying out som eof the newer features at the moment.

I was in a bit of a panic thinking I had downloaded another dud iso. The one I down loaded this morning was short about 50mb, so off course it didn't install.
2nd attempt the ASG v6.303 went into very high CPU usage about 75% the way through and had to be rebooted. I couldn't identify any processes that were causing it and nothing showed in the logs.
So a 3rd attempt meant nearly 1gb of download out of my 10gb monthly allowance was chewed up. I need as much allowance left at the end of the month to download my 4gb linux iso upgrade.

Any back to v7b, it looks very good, but the stats don't seem to update in the dashboard.

IE7 does not work in Webadmin. A lot of longer pages render incorrectly.

IE 7 - I think it depends on the size of monitor. It doesn't seem to treat size, but it does change layout and colour. Not impressed with that offering at all. It doesn't convert all your settings and increases the amount MS deem to be unfit for us mere mortals to view.

Off soapbox back to investigating v7b.
