Can't Download with active HTTP Proxy

Its a default Configuration of the http Proxy
Allowed networks - Internal Networks - Transparent Mode

mhh, strange, seams that the download manager seems not to work as expected.

Do you see other blocked pages, like "Blocked Virus"?

This happens with me as well. Unable to download any files, firefox says it is unable to reach status.fw-notify.net

Which version of Firefox are you using?

Did you disable javascript?

Does it work with another browser?

if i recall it correctly, all of you guys are using transparent mode right?
I think i found the issue, the domain status.fw-notify.net is currently  not resolvable.
This is the issue of your problem.
Therefore the download manager only works in Standard mode, and not in transparent.

I will take care of that.

As a workaround you can add an entry in the hosts file of your client machine:
C:\windows\systems32\drivers\etc\hosts

Add the following line:

212.126.210.206    status.fw-notify.net

status.fw-notify.net is OK but now the same Problem with download.httpproxy.fw-notify.net. Have this host dem same IP Addess?

I added an entry to hosts for the download.httpproxy.fw-notify.net, and everything works in transparent mode now. I do get an error though, if once the content scanning has finished, you let it sit for a moment after clicking save, you will get this:

Could someone explain me the need of this "fw-notify.net" Domain.
What kind of job will "status.fw-notify.net" and "download.httpproxy.fw-notify.net" do for me?
