V7 will there be no open Beta

When will Astaro send this v7 out?

it should come to systems 2006.
and the alpha looks very cool it may be the right to wait for the ready product the new web-admin is a fully new thing and there will be a lot of new features ....

I believe that V7's Webadmin is developed around AJAX. Just like the new ACC. The other cool features will include Enhanced QoS, SSL VPN, Gateway Email Encryption, and Transparent FTP with Antivirus scanning. There are possibly other new enhancements, but that is all I got from scouring the net for info. Oh almost forgot V7 should be in a system near you around October - November. (Atleast thats what I heard from an Astaro Partner) [:D]

If Astaro fixes these bugs and changes nothing else for V7 I will be happy, I could care less about some fancy AJAX interface, the current one works well enough:

A public Beta of V7 is planned for the end of october. V7 finale should be come out in the end of 2006.

Unlikely, for the Home user they probably forward the cost of the Antivirus Vendor's license on to you.

Well, maybe not ClamAV... but they do have the expense of maintaining the up2date server network, bandwidth costs money, etc... it's pretty cheap to get those subscriptions added to a home license.. so they're probably just covering those costs for that...
