I also have the problem with this show detail. I have alot of web site blocked and asl will show all what have been block to user. Some of my user will seach what have not been listed. This is a stupid ideal that show what have been blocked to user.
I think if you use ASL you do not have choice to remove the >.
The only way I know of to change these messages is to login via ssh and change the files in the folder
/var/storage/chroot-http/etc/hyperdyper/xslt
/var/storage/chroot-http/etc/weed/xslt (for the virus-scan-messages)

It's the same problem as with the bounce messages from Astaro's SMTP-Proxy: They are in English, and totally incomprehensible for a non-IT-person. That's why I had to change the bounce messages, in spite of voided warranty. Our users need German explanations, or they will call me up whenever they get a bounce message! An incomprehensible error message can cause more trouble than the error it refers to!
